Detailed operational tutorial — button-to-button guide for passengers.

Module 1: Login & Account Access

GetTranzport uses a single authentication flow for both new passenger sign-up and existing passenger login. The same login/OTP screens apply to each.

Login methods

  • Continue with Google Account
  • Continue with Email Address
  • Continue with Phone Number

Steps

  1. Open the GetTranzport Web App or Mobile App
  2. Select one login method (Google, Email, or Phone)
  3. Enter the required credential
  4. Click "Request Login Code"
  5. Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to you
  6. Click "Verify"

System behaviour

  • If the credential is new → a passenger account is automatically created
  • If the credential already exists → you are logged into the existing account
  • No password is created or stored

Module 2: Create a Ride or Delivery Request

Ride types available

  • Ride / Km (distance-based rides)
  • Ride / Hr (hourly rides)
  • Delivery / Kg (parcel delivery)

Your actions

  1. Select ride type (Ride/Km, Ride/Hr, or Delivery/Kg)
  2. Enter pickup location
  3. Enter drop-off location
  4. Select pickup date and time
  5. Select number of passengers or parcel weight
  6. Select preferred vehicle type (if applicable)
  7. Submit ride or delivery request

What happens next

Your request is broadcast to drivers whose pickup area matches the request location, vehicle type matches the request, and availability is active.

Module 3: Driver Offers & Selection

After you submit a request, multiple drivers may submit fare offers. Each offer shows driver name, vehicle details, vehicle type, and the offered fare price.

Your actions

  1. Review all driver offers carefully
  2. Compare price, vehicle type, and driver profile
  3. Select one preferred driver

What happens next

The selected driver moves into Scheduled Ride. Other driver offers are automatically closed.

Module 4: Payment & Ride Confirmation

Payment methods

  • Stripe (card payment)
  • PayPal (PayPal account login)

Your actions

  1. Confirm selected driver
  2. Proceed to payment
  3. Complete payment using Stripe or PayPal

After payment

  • Payment confirmation instantly confirms the ride and locks ride details
  • In-app call and chat are activated
  • Ride status becomes "Confirmed" immediately after successful payment

Module 5: Communication with Driver

Channels

  • In-app Call
  • In-app Chat Messenger

Rules

  • Communication becomes available only after payment
  • All calls and chats are free of charge, secure, and logged for safety and support

Best practice

Use chat for pickup confirmations; use call for urgent coordination.

Module 6: Ride Lifecycle (Passenger View)

Scheduled Ride

Ride is booked and confirmed; awaiting pickup time.

In Progress

Ride status changes to "In Progress" when the driver starts the trip. You can track ride progress.

Completed Ride

Ride completes when you reach the booked destination. It moves to Completed Rides history.

Cancelled Ride

Any ride cancelled before the scheduled time appears in Completed Rides for record purposes.

Module 7: Ratings & Reviews

After ride completion, you are prompted to rate the driver using star ratings and leave optional written feedback.

Ratings affect the driver's performance score; your feedback helps improve service quality.

Module 8: Payments & Receipts

You can view completed payments, ride receipts, and the payment method used.

Receipts include

  • Pickup and drop-off details
  • Fare paid
  • Date and time
  • Payment reference

Module 9: Notifications

Notification alerts include driver offers received, ride confirmation, driver arrival updates, and ride completion alerts.

Keep notifications ON to avoid missing updates.

Module 10: Profile & Settings

  • Profile management — Update personal information and contact details. All passenger data is securely encrypted.
  • Other options — Logout, app version display

  • Always review driver offers carefully before selection
  • Ensure payment is completed to confirm your ride
  • Use in-app communication for safety
  • Provide honest ratings after each ride
