1. What Gets Deleted

When you submit a data deletion request, we permanently remove: your account profile (name, email, phone, photo), saved addresses and preferences, loyalty points and rewards, referral records, message history (after 30-day grace period), and all associated personal data. Trip records required for legal/tax compliance will be anonymised rather than deleted.

2. What Is Retained (Legal Requirements)

Under Canadian tax law and FINTRAC regulations, we are required to retain certain records:

Booking and trip history — 7 years (anonymised after deletion)
Payment and transaction records — 7 years
Dispute and safety incident records — permanently, for legal protection

3. Deletion Timeline

Your request is acknowledged within 48 hours
Identity verification is completed within 5 business days
Full deletion is completed within 30 days
You receive email confirmation once deletion is complete

4. This Is Irreversible

Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use GetTranzport again. We recommend downloading your trip history and receipts before submitting a deletion request.

Visit gettranzport.com/data-deletion for the full interactive form. Alternatively, email legal@gettranzport.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your full name and the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing.
