GetTranzport uses a tender-based pricing model. You post your trip and verified drivers submit competitive bids. You choose the best combination of price, rating, and vehicle class. The price you agree to is the price you pay — no surge pricing, no hidden fees.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the trip cost. If the driver cancels, you receive a full refund.

How are drivers verified on GetTranzport?

Every driver on GetTranzport undergoes criminal background screening, driving licence verification, vehicle roadworthiness inspection, and identity verification before being approved. Drivers are re-screened annually.

What payment methods are accepted?

GetTranzport accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and mobile money (M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money) in supported markets.

How do I become a GetTranzport driver?

You earn points on every completed trip. Points can be redeemed for discounts on future bookings. Higher tiers unlock priority driver matching, free rescheduling, and exclusive offers.

What currencies are accepted on GetTranzport?

We accept payments in 80+ currencies. All fare rates are stored in US Dollars as the base currency and converted to your local currency using real-time exchange rates at the time of booking. We support credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

What if my flight is delayed for an airport pickup?

For airport pickups, your driver monitors your flight in real time and adjusts their arrival accordingly. Up to 60 minutes of free waiting time is included. If your delay exceeds 60 minutes, contact support to reschedule at no extra charge.

Can I share my trip location with someone?

Yes. Once your trip starts, you can generate a shareable live tracking link from the app. Anyone with the link can follow your journey in real time — no app download required.

How do drivers get paid on GetTranzport?

Earnings are transferred to your registered bank account within 24 hours of trip completion. There are no weekly or monthly payout delays. You can also request instant payout for a small fee.

Is the SOS button available on every trip?

Yes. The SOS button is visible on the trip tracking screen for every active booking — for both passengers and drivers. It's always one tap away. Pressing it alerts our 24/7 safety team, shares your live GPS location, and can connect you directly to local emergency services.

Can the driver see my real phone number?

No. GetTranzport uses masked calling for all in-app calls. When you call your driver (or they call you), both numbers are hidden behind a temporary proxy number. Your real phone number is never shared. The proxy number expires when the trip ends, preventing any off-platform contact.

What does the Driver Trust Score mean for my safety?

The Driver Trust Score is a 0–1000 point system that reflects a driver's identity verification level, background check status, vehicle inspection, trip completion rate, and passenger ratings. Higher-tier drivers (Trusted, Elite, Platinum) have passed more rigorous checks and have a proven track record. You can see a driver's tier before confirming your booking.

Who can see my live trip location when I share it?

Only people you share the link with. The link is unique to your trip and doesn't require the recipient to have a GetTranzport account. It shows your driver's live location, vehicle details, and ETA. The link expires automatically when your trip is marked complete — it cannot be accessed after that.

What happens if I trigger the SOS button by accident?

Our safety team will contact you immediately to confirm whether it was accidental. If you confirm it was a mistake, no further action is taken. There is no penalty for accidental SOS triggers — we'd rather respond to a false alarm than miss a real emergency.

Are all GetTranzport drivers background checked?

Yes — without exception. A criminal background check is a mandatory requirement for all drivers on GetTranzport, regardless of country. Canadian drivers also complete FINTRAC identity verification as required by Canadian federal law. No driver can accept bookings without passing these checks.

How do I set up emergency contacts?

Go to your Safety Settings in the app or web portal. You can add up to 3 emergency contacts. When you trigger the SOS button, all emergency contacts are automatically notified with your live location and trip details. You can update your emergency contacts at any time.

What if I feel unsafe during a trip but don't want to call 911?

Use the in-app SOS button to alert our safety team without calling emergency services. Our team will contact you discreetly and can coordinate with local authorities on your behalf if needed. You can also use the in-app chat to send a silent message to our safety team during an active trip.
