GetTranzport Announces 50 New Tech and Operations Roles in Winnipeg Headquarters

GetTranzport today announced plans to create 50 new technology and operations positions at its Winnipeg headquarters over the next 12 months, representing one of the largest tech hiring initiatives in Manitoba's history.

The new roles span software engineering, data science, product design, driver operations, customer success, and regulatory compliance. The expansion reflects the platform's rapid growth and the increasing complexity of operating across 180+ countries.

"We started in Winnipeg because this is home," said Raheem. "The talent here is exceptional, the cost of living supports creative thinking, and the community has been incredibly supportive since day one. These 50 new roles are our way of doubling down on this city."

The company will occupy an additional 15,000 square feet in the Exchange District, bringing its total Winnipeg footprint to 35,000 square feet. The expansion includes a new driver training simulation centre, a 24/7 multilingual customer support hub, and expanded engineering labs.

GetTranzport is partnering with the University of Manitoba, Red River College Polytech, and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce on recruitment pipelines and internship programmes.

“We started in Winnipeg because this is home. The talent here is exceptional, the cost of living supports creative thinking, and the community has been incredibly supportive since day one. These 50 new roles are our way of doubling down on this city.”
