Instant Booking lets you lock in a fixed fare immediately — great when you need a ride fast and don't want to wait. Quote-Based Booking posts your trip to nearby drivers who compete for your business by submitting their best fare. You then choose the driver and price you prefer. Quote-based bookings often result in better prices for longer or scheduled trips.

Can I book an airport transfer on GetTranzport?

Yes — airport transfers are one of our most popular trip types. When booking, select "Airport Transfer" as your trip type. Drivers are experienced with airport pickups and drop-offs, and our system supports flight tracking so your driver can adjust for early arrivals or delays. You can also add flight number details in the special requests field.

Does GetTranzport support long-distance and intercity trips?

Absolutely. GetTranzport was built specifically for long-distance and intercity travel — not just short city rides. You can book city-to-city transfers, cross-province, and even cross-border trips in supported regions. Drivers quote competitively for these routes, and you can compare multiple offers before confirming.

How far in advance can I schedule a ride?

You can schedule rides up to 90 days in advance. This is especially useful for airport transfers, corporate travel, and intercity trips where you want to lock in a driver early. Once confirmed, your driver is committed to the booking and you'll receive reminders as the pickup date approaches.

Can I cancel a booking after it's confirmed?

Yes, you can cancel a booking. Cancellation policies vary depending on how close to the pickup time you cancel. Cancellations made well in advance (typically 24+ hours) are usually free. Can I book a return trip at the same time?

Yes. When creating your booking, toggle the "Return Trip" option and select your return date and time. This creates a linked booking for both legs of your journey. You can use the same driver for both legs or receive separate quotes for each direction.

What vehicle classes are available?

GetTranzport offers six vehicle classes: Economy (budget-friendly sedans), Standard (comfortable mid-range), Business (premium sedans), VIP (luxury vehicles), Minivan (up to 7 passengers), and SUV (spacious 4x4s). What if I was overcharged or need a refund?

Can I split the fare with other passengers?

Yes — use our Split Fare feature. After booking, go to your trip details and select "Split Fare". You can invite co-passengers by email or share a link. Each person pays their share directly through the platform. The driver receives the full amount regardless of how many people split it.

Can I share my live trip location with someone?

Yes. From your active booking, tap "Share Trip" to generate a live tracking link. Anyone with the link can follow your trip in real time — no account required. This is great for letting family or friends know your ETA or for safety monitoring during long-distance trips.

Is there an emergency SOS feature?

Yes. During an active trip, there's an SOS button in the trip tracking screen. Pressing it alerts our safety team and can connect you to local emergency services. You can also set up emergency contacts in your Safety Settings — they'll be notified automatically if you trigger SOS.

Is my phone number shared with the driver?

No. GetTranzport uses masked calling — when you call your driver (or they call you), both numbers are hidden behind a temporary proxy number. Your real phone number is never revealed to drivers. This protects your privacy while still allowing direct communication when needed.

How do I report a driver or a bad experience?

After your trip, you'll be prompted to rate your driver. If you had a serious issue, select "Report a Problem" during the rating flow. You can also go to Support at any time and submit a safety report with your booking ID. All reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours. Drivers with repeated complaints are suspended pending investigation.

How do I track my driver in real time?

Once your booking is confirmed and the driver is on their way, you'll see a "Track" button in your Passenger Dashboard and in the booking confirmation email. The tracking screen shows your driver's live location on a map, their ETA, vehicle details, and a direct call button. Updates refresh every few seconds.

How do I contact my driver before or during the trip?

From your booking details, tap "Message Driver" to open a direct chat, or "Call Driver" to initiate a masked phone call. Both options are available from the moment your booking is confirmed until the trip is completed. All communication is logged for safety purposes.

What do I do if my driver is late or doesn't show up?

First, use the in-app chat or masked call to contact your driver directly. If you can't reach them and they're significantly late, contact our support team via the Support page or live chat. We'll investigate immediately and either resolve the situation or help you find an alternative driver. You won't be charged if the driver doesn't show.

Can I bring extra luggage or cargo?

Yes. When booking, specify the number of luggage pieces. For cargo or delivery bookings, select the "Delivery" trip mode and enter the weight and description. Drivers who accept your booking are confirming they can accommodate your luggage. For oversized items, use the special requests field to describe what you're bringing.

Can I book a cross-border trip?

Yes, in supported regions. GetTranzport operates in 180+ countries and supports cross-border transfers where drivers are licensed to operate across borders. When booking, simply enter your destination in another country. Drivers who are authorised for cross-border trips will appear in your quote results. Always carry your travel documents for border crossings.

How do I rate my driver after the trip?

After your trip is marked complete, you'll receive a rating prompt in the app and via email. Rate your driver 1–5 stars and leave an optional comment. Ratings are anonymous to the driver — they see the score but not who gave it. Your feedback directly affects the driver's Trust Score and helps other passengers make informed choices.

What if the driver took a wrong route or the trip was unsatisfactory?

After the trip, use the "Report a Problem" option in the rating flow to describe the issue. For route disputes, include the expected vs actual route. How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Click the link, enter your new password, and you're back in. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.

How do I delete my account or request data deletion?

Go to the Data Deletion page at gettranzport.com/data-deletion and submit a deletion request. We'll process it within 30 days in compliance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws. Note that deleting your account will remove all your booking history, loyalty points, and profile data permanently.

Can I be both a passenger and a driver on GetTranzport?

I left something in the driver's vehicle. How do I get it back?

My payment failed. What should I do?
