2026 marks a landmark year for GetTranzport as we officially launch operations in 12 new African markets. This expansion represents our largest continental growth initiative to date and brings our total African presence to 28 countries.

The new markets include Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Central African Republic, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, and Madagascar. Each market has been carefully selected based on transportation infrastructure, demand for reliable long-distance travel, and the availability of qualified driver partners.

Our expansion strategy focuses on three core pillars: driver quality, passenger safety, and technology infrastructure. In each new market, we are recruiting and vetting drivers through our rigorous SafeGuard verification process, which includes identity verification, vehicle inspections, and driving assessments.

Technology plays a crucial role in this expansion. We have deployed our proprietary driver-passenger matching algorithm, real-time GPS tracking, and automated fare calculation systems across all new markets. This ensures that passengers receive the same seamless booking experience whether they are in Lagos, Dakar, or Luanda.

Local partnerships have been essential to our success. In each new country, we have established relationships with local transport authorities, tourism boards, and business chambers to ensure compliance with regulations and to understand unique market needs.

For passengers, this expansion means more options, better coverage, and competitive pricing. Popular new routes include Dakar to Banjul, Luanda to Windhoek, and Lusaka to Lilongwe. Business travellers, tourists, and locals alike can now book reliable private transfers across borders that were previously difficult to navigate.

We are particularly excited about the economic impact this expansion will have. By creating earning opportunities for local drivers and reducing travel friction for businesses, GetTranzport is contributing to regional connectivity and economic growth across Africa.
